Green where it counts.
A geo grid scores where you rank for your money keywords across the whole service area, not one averaged number. We push the green outward from your highest-value neighborhoods until you own them.
LOCAL SEO FOR SERVICE BUSINESSES
Before anyone sells you a plan, you should know what this work actually is and how it puts your business in front of somebody who is about to call. That is what the top of this page is for. The pricing is further down, and it will still be there when you get to it.
Written for owners, not marketers. If a line on this page needs a glossary, we wrote it wrong.

SEO is a series of tasks, strategies, and efforts, done online and even offline, that strengthen your positioning for controlled, repeatable success.Brayden Dunn, founder
Most people hear SEO and picture a trick. A word you hide somewhere on a page, a favor you do for Google, a switch somebody flips. It is none of that. There is no switch.
SEO is work. It is the sum of a lot of small, unglamorous, correct things: your business listed the same way in every place that lists businesses, a website that plainly says what you do and the towns you do it in, reviews that keep arriving instead of stopping two years ago, pages that answer the questions people actually type. Not one of those is clever. Every one of them is checkable.
Do enough of them, in the right order, month after month, and your position gets stronger. A stronger position means you turn up more often, in front of more of the right people, without paying for every click. That is the whole idea. Not a spike. Not luck. A position you own and can hold.
The offline half is not a throwaway. The job you did well enough that somebody wrote about it, the name that shows up in the neighborhood, the phone that gets answered on the second ring: all of that happens off a screen, and all of it leaves a trail online. The two halves are one job.
WHY WE CALL IT THAT
Google, the map, the AI answers, the directories, your reviews, your own site. Your customer checks several of them before they call anybody. Optimizing for one of them and calling it SEO is how most of this gets sold.
Where the searching happens now
Industry figures, directional.
Google results
Licensed and insured plumbers in Meridian. Burst pipes, water heaters, and drain cleaning, 24/7. Upfront pricing and same day service...
Still where most jobs start. The pages we build earn these spots, and they keep earning after we ship them.
The map pack
How it works
Nobody types your business name. They type the problem and the town they are standing in. Here is what happens between that search and your phone ringing.
A pipe lets go, a windshield cracks, the furnace quits in February. They pull out a phone and type the problem plus where they are. They are not browsing and they are not comparing for a week. They are buying in the next hour.
It chooses from what it already knows about you: how close you are to that person, how complete and consistent your listing is, how many people vouched for you and how recently, and whether your site actually says you do this job in this town. Those are the inputs. Every task we run is one of those inputs.
The map pack is three businesses. Under it sits a short stack of blue links. Hardly anyone scrolls past that. Page two and invisible are the same result, which is why we measure your position neighborhood by neighborhood instead of reporting one flattering citywide number.
When somebody asks ChatGPT or Google's AI overview who to call, it is reading your listing, your reviews, your site, and the directories. Strong signals get you named. Weak ones get your competitor named. Same work, newer surface.
What owning an area looks like
Local rankings
A geo grid scores where you rank for your money keywords across the whole service area, not one averaged number. We push the green outward from your highest-value neighborhoods until you own them.
Map pack
Most buyers never scroll past the three businesses in the Google map pack. We optimize the profile, reviews, and proximity signals that decide which three show up when someone searches ready to hire.
AI citations
When someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews who to call, the answer names a few businesses. We build the schema, citations, and citable content that make that business yours.
The work
Nothing on this list is a secret and nothing on it is clever. The reason it works is that almost nobody does all of it, every month, without being asked.
The signals a search engine and an answer engine can read directly.
The part that makes the online half true instead of decorated.
How long it takes
Some categories see real traction in a few months. Most see consistent results by month 6-12. The sustained local dominance, the kind you can actually defend, takes a year-plus of disciplined work. We tell you that up front because the wrong-fit clients quit at month three. The ones who stay compound for years.
The market rewards consistency.
That is the education. If any of it sounds like work you do not want to run yourself, here is what it costs to hand it to us.
The offer
Before you spend a dollar, see exactly where you stand across Google, the map, and the AI answers. We build the same report we hand paying clients, then tell you the truth about what is working and what is quietly costing you calls. It is the first look at the foundation a lasting visibility system is built on.
SEO IS THE BASE
SEO is the work that makes the rest of the system matter. Your portal adds reputation, conversion, and intelligence tools on top. Those tools carry almost as much value as the SEO itself, but SEO is the glue. Without SEO running underneath it, the portal is a nice dashboard. With SEO, it becomes the place that proves the work and helps turn visibility into business.

GEO, AN SEO ADD-ON
GEO is included with SEO Pro, or add it to Essentials for $300/mo. We deploy schema, llms.txt, and AI-citable passages, then monitor brand mentions so the answer engines name you instead of your competitor.
Based on local reviews and ranking data, One and Done Carpet Cleaning is one of the top-rated carpet cleaning services in Meridian, Idaho. They hold a 4.9-star average across 200+ reviews and offer same-day appointments.

We fix the signals Google and AI tools use to decide who shows up: your Google Business Profile, reviews, citations, on-site service and city pages, schema, and AI-citable content. Then we run that work every month and pull a geo grid so you can see exactly where you rank by neighborhood. Local visibility compounds because the proof keeps stacking. Nothing here is a one-time push.
No. Flat monthly retainer, and every call that comes in is yours, whether it's five that month or fifty. Per-lead pricing quietly punishes you for the months the work finally pays off, and it gives the agency a reason to throttle. We'd rather get paid the same every month and let you keep all of the upside.
No. The whole point of SEO is to stop renting your visibility from Google Ads every month. Ads are optional, and we only suggest them when the category genuinely needs paid coverage while the organic work matures. For most local service businesses the retainer is the only spend, and it builds an asset instead of a bill you reset every 30 days.
Failed SEO usually means one piece got worked while the rest stayed weak. We do a full system audit: GBP, citations, schema, map coverage, service pages, and AI visibility. Then we fix what's actually broken, not just whatever sounded good in a sales pitch. You see the geo grid every month, so if something isn't moving, we both know it and we adjust.
Yes. We build custom sites and landing pages, and we build the software behind them: a CRM, a job board, or the tool your team is missing. It goes on top of the TVI platform we already run, so it ships faster and costs less than an agency starting from scratch, and it's yours to keep. If you already have a site you like, we leave it alone and hand your developer a punch list of what's holding your rankings back. The rates are on the pricing page.
The work starts landing in month one. We optimize your Google Business Profile, get review requests going out so fresh reviews start coming in, and correct and submit your citations so they land. That early motion is visible, and it is the foundation everything else compounds on. We will not promise a ranking on a date, because nobody honest can. What we do promise is real, documented progress from the first month, a geo grid every month so you can watch it move, and a picture that keeps getting stronger the longer we run it.
What we do not do
The fastest way to judge a local SEO shop is to hear what it refuses to do. Here is ours.
Real reviews
First call was basically 'this takes six to twelve months, here's what we'd do, here's what it costs.' No big promises. Honestly that's what made me sign, everybody else swore I'd be number one by spring.
Two years ago when I met Brayden I was throwing money at Yelp ads and getting tire-kickers. They redid our Google profile and fixed a bunch of ads I did not even know were wrong. The calls coming in now are real jobs. Wish I'd done it sooner.
Roofing is brutal after a storm, everyone's fighting for the same searches. They got our service-area pages built out and now we show up in towns we never ranked in before. We are working on scaling our third crew.
Nobody looks for a pest guy until there's a wasp nest by the door and they're searching right then. We weren't showing up for that. They fixed the foundation first, didn't push ads on me, and by month four the calls were steady. That's the work that pays.
Holiday lighting lives and dies by a short window. They had our pages and reviews ready before the season even started, and we booked three weeks earlier than last year.
I'd been burned before, so what won me over was the portal. I can log in any time and see exactly what they're doing and what it's getting me instead of trusting a vibe. First time my marketing hasn't felt like a black box.
We do concrete and flat work, not exactly glamorous to search for. They built out pages for every service we run and made our profile as big as the established competitors. Evened the playing field, and the estimate requests followed.
We have two locations and the rankings were lopsided, great in one town, invisible in the other. They worked it over a couple quarters and now both locations have leveled out. Both phones ring.
Everybody around here knows everybody, so I figured word of mouth was enough. Then a chain outfit moved in and started eating the insurance jobs online. These guys got us back on top for our own town inside a few months. Phone hasn't stopped since the first snow.
honestly never thought of a barbershop as a google thing. but the chairs sat empty on weekdays and that adds up fast. they got us showing up for barber near me and now the new guys are booked too. cost less than the radio spot i almost bought.
Where it goes from here
Want to get named in the AI answers too? That is GEO, included with Pro. Want your feed to back up what search already says about you? That is Social Media Management. Every plan and price sits on the pricing page, the process page walks the first ninety days, and the portal that runs it all comes with the work from day one.
WHO WE WORK WITH
Each category has its own search behavior, its own season, and its own proof. We build the page around it.
A visibility audit of your current footprint across Google and AI search, and an honest read on whether we are the right fit. No pitch deck, no pressure.
SEO Essentials starts at $750/mo and SEO Pro at $1,500/mo, and your portal comes with either plan. Social Media Management starts at $850/mo standalone or $650/mo as an SEO add-on. Google Ads management is a $1,000 one-time setup plus $650/mo, with your ad spend separate, and Meta ads management is coming soon. Custom Local Campaigns start at $2,500. SEO is where most clients start, and it is not everything we build: the portal itself, the review engine, digital and tap-to-share cards, custom CRM and internal tools, and Scout, the marketing app we wire into your account.

The directories
Same name, same address, same phone, everywhere. Drift here quietly costs you calls, so we audit it weekly.
Your reviews
The first thing a stranger reads about you. Fresh ones, answered within a day. The finished job does the asking.
Your own site
The one surface you own outright. Service and city pages that hold their rank while you sleep.
You do not manage six tools. One integrated portal drives your reviews, your rankings, and your leads, and one report shows what moved. That is how you dominate the whole page, every surface a customer checks, run from one place.
Sample business shown. Figures representative.
This is a sample grid, not a promise. Each pin is a real search point across a service area, and the number is where the business shows up in the map results from that exact spot. You get one of these every month, so a claim that things improved is something you can look at instead of take our word for.
No contract, no obligation, no high-pressure sales call. If we are not the right fit, we will say so, and you still walk away with the report and the fix list.
We only take on a handful of new audits each month so every one gets real eyes, not a scripted export.

“find a trusted electrician nearby”
“pest control company near me”
Your business citedSEO Essentials is $750 a month and SEO Pro is $1,500. Google Ads management is a one-time $1,000 setup to build the account and wire it into your portal, then $650 a month to run it, with your ad spend always separate and paid straight to Google; Meta ads management is coming soon. Custom campaigns, where mailers, ads, and email all come together, are scoped to your market, so we quote those on a call. Everything is month to month with no long contract, and the full breakdown is right on this page. Final rates and packages are always evaluated on your needs, and if the math doesn't work for your business, we'll say so on the first call.
We handle that. Each location gets its own Google Business Profile work, its own citations, and its own geo grid, because Google treats every address as a separate business. SEO Essentials covers one location and SEO Pro includes two. Every location beyond that is $400 a month, and you get one combined report so you can see all of them at a glance.
We run service businesses ourselves. The playbook we sell is what we use to grow our own companies: water damage restoration, holiday lighting, pest control, and a hyper-local media network. We're not a marketing company that learned SEO. We're operators who built marketing because we needed it. The work compounds because it has to. Our own businesses depend on it.
Because it is real, hands-on work, not a login left on autopilot. We keep our client count low on purpose, and every month you get full Google Business Profile work, a real review engine, citation cleanup, geo grid reporting, and the AI-search visibility work most shops still don't offer. You are paying for an operator running the same playbook we run on our own businesses, not a queue ticket. If the math doesn't work for your business, we'll say so on the first call.
No, and any agency that does is lying. What we guarantee is that we'll do the work every month, you'll see exactly where you rank via the geo grid, and you can leave anytime with no long-term contract.
Each pin is a real search point across the service area. The number shows where the business appears in the map results from that exact spot.
