HOW WE DID IT · WATER DAMAGE RESTORATION · TREASURE VALLEY, ID
A family run restoration company doing emergency water damage work, where the job goes to whoever a soaked homeowner finds first at midnight. The work was excellent and the reviews said so, but the map presence stopped at the edge of one city. One city over, the same company sat around 14th on the map, and nobody calls the 14th result.
Anonymized client. Ranking and review figures are real pulls from our own system (June and July 2026). Lines marked illustrative are placeholders until the client clears exact numbers.
What we found
The home city grid now averages rank 1.8, with all 81 squares in the top three. The next city over averaged 14.3 on the same keyword, and a third nearby city 7.1. Visibility ended where the foundation work ended.
A 5.0 Google rating across 99 reviews, the strongest proof file in its category, working hard in one city and doing nothing in the next.
A profile strong at home and thin on the service-area signals that carry rankings into the surrounding cities.illustrative
No city pages for the surrounding cities, so the emergency searches there had nothing local to rank.illustrative
What we did
Profile rebuild, citation cleanup to one identical name and number, and a steady review request pace tied to finished jobs. The boring work that everything since stands on.illustrative
Monthly grid pulls, location targeted posts, and service pages for the emergency terms. The home city map filled in until every square held.illustrative
Baseline grids are pulled for the two nearest cities (14.3 and 7.1 average rank in June 2026). Citations, pages, and posts for those cities are the current month's work. The squares there are the next ones to turn.
